Diabetic Retinoppathy is an entanglement of diabetes and a main source of visual impairment in India.

The retina is the layer that covers the back of the eye. It is profoundly delicate to light.

It changes over any light that hits the eye into signals that can be deciphered by the mind. This procedure generate visual pictures, and it is the means by which sight works in the eye.

Diabetic retinopathy harms the veins inside the retinal tissue, making them release liquid and twist vision.

There are two sorts of DR:

Non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR): This is the milder type of diabetic retinopathy and is normally symptomless.

Proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR): PDR is the most progressive phase of diabetic retinopathy and alludes to the arrangement of new, anomalous veins in the retina.
